What is ORIBA?

What is ORIBA, the eco-bag that stands on its own in just one second?

If an eco-bag could stand upright in just one second (from a folded state) at a convenience store or supermarket, wouldn't it make bagging easier? ORIBA is an eco-bag with a completely new concept that focuses on making it easier to put things in .

Being independent means being able to use both hands. This is actually quite convenient.

When packing items at the supermarket, have you ever struggled to decide in what order to put them in a bag, only to end up having to take everything out and start over?

Why is it difficult to pack eco-bags?

We analyzed that one of the reasons for this is that eco-bags need to be supported with one hand, leaving one hand occupied.

The kite material that flies through the air with air resistance is highly durable, lightweight, and can be washed (in the washing machine) as it dries quickly even when wet.

Before we found this fabric, we tested a total of 98 different fabrics. First, we checked whether it could stand on its own. Then, we checked its durability, whether it could be washed, how well it could be sewn, etc.

We tried all kinds of ideas and made many prototypes to realize the "independence". The sewing in particular is very complicated because it is the result of an accumulation of small innovations.

There are not many overseas factories that can accurately and carefully reproduce this complex design, and domestic factories cannot afford the cost. Ultimately, we chose a factory (in China) that also subcontracts for luxury brand bags. The owner is Japanese and has over 20 years of experience in the manufacture of bags and wallets.

In addition, we have already ordered over 5,000 ORIBA (S) convenience store size items, and we have a great deal of trust in their careful sewing. In addition, all products are inspected again by Japanese staff at our own warehouse in Japan.
